I’ve walked past this place a million times and often wondered what the coffee was like. We were all in need of a caffeine hit so the time had come. I was a little reluctant to sit on the well-used window cushions as they appeared to be a festering microcosm of street and human bacteria. A bit like touching unkept dread-locks. Nasty stuff. The dangling garlic and chilli and sharks head adds a bit of character as do the colourful Newtown folk that seem to love to hang about here.
Coffee-wise, I was a little surprised at how good it was after reading a couple of reviews of this place. We all know how inconsistent cafe’s can be with coffee so I guess we lucked out this time.
