
Cheesy, Creamy Sautéed Shrimp Tacos
Every bite melts in your mouth a little more than the last. Absolutely perfect!
Ingredients
Shrimp Taco Ingredients
- 1 pound shrimp peeled and deveined, tails removed
- 8 tortillas corn tortillas, flour tortillas, or taco shells
- 2 teaspoons olive oil
- 1 cup onions sliced super thin
- 4 ounces cream cheese softened
- 2 tablespoons milk
- 1 tablespoon taco seasoning
- Juice from 1 lime
- 2 tablespoons freshly chopped cilantro
- ½ cup shredded purple cabbage
- ¼ cup shredded radishes
- 1 cup Mexican-style shredded cheese
Instructions
- Heat the oil in a skillet, then add in the onion and sauté for 5 minutes
- Add the shrimp and sauté for 3 to 4 minutes, until the shrimp turn pink, stirring frequently
- In a bowl combine the softened cream cheese, milk, and taco seasoning, and stir well to combine
- Stir continuously until the cream cheese is all melted
- Add to the skillet with the shrimp and onions and stir well
- Warm up the tortillas
- Spoon the shrimp mixture into the corn tortilla shell, then add your choice of the remaining toppings
- Enjoy!
