Ingredients
  

Shrimp Taco Ingredients

  • 1 pound shrimp peeled and deveined, tails removed
  • Juice of 3 limes
  • 8 tortillas corn tortillas, flour tortillas, or taco shells

Garlic Lime Taco Sauce Ingredients

  • cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons hot sauce
  • A pinch of salt
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon lime zest
  • 1 teaspoon lime juice

Cabbage Slaw Ingredients

  • ½ cup green cabbage
  • ½ cup red cabbage
  • ¼ cup chopped cilantro
  • ¼ red onion diced
  • ½ avocado peeled, seeded, and sliced very thin
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Juice of one lime
  • 2 tablespoons mayonnaise

Shrimp Seasoning Ingredients

  • 2 garlic cloves minced
  • ½ teaspoon cumin
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 2 tablespoons chopped cilantro
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

Instructions
 

  • In a skillet, drizzle olive oil and heat over medium heat, and place the shrimp into a large bowl
  • Combine minced garlic cloves, cumin, salt, chopped cilantro, and olive oil
  • Pour the seasoning over the shrimp and stir to coat the shrimp
  • Place the shrimp in the heated skillet and sauté on each side for 4 to 5 minutes
  • Remove to plate and set to the side
  • In a large bowl combine the red and green cabbage, cilantro, red onion, and avocado
  • In a small bowl combine the mayonnaise, olive oil, and the lime juice
  • Pour the mix over the cabbage mix and stir to combine
  • Assemble the tacos by placing a tortilla on the plate, spread a little of the garlic lime shrimp taco sauce over the center
  • Place a few shrimp on top of the sauce, then spoon ¼ to ½ cup of slaw mix over the shrimp
